AWS S3 Manager
Overview
Ecoplot's AWS S3 Manager offers an in-app solution of managing and utilizing data files stored on Amazon S3. Any change made to buckets and data files on Amazon S3 will be updated in AWS S3 Manger in Ecoplot and vice versa.

Access AWS S3 Manager with key
Click the AWS button from the Side panel toolbar to show the AWS S3 Manager side panel. Access key is required for AWS S3 Manager. Click the S3 Config button on the upper right corner of the panel to open the S3 Config menu and enter your access key ID and secret access key.

Saved access key will be saved in your project file. You can prevent others from seeing your key by turning on "Encrypt key", this will encrypt your key when you click the Change Key button and encrypted key will be saved in the project file.
Manage data files
Once you have access to AWS S3 Manager, you can select a bucket available from the bucket list menu to manage data files stored in that bucket. Managing data files involves uploading and deleting files as well as organizing files as folders. Data files displayed in AWS S3 Manager can be downloaded to your local storage using the Download button, or imported into Ecoplot using the Use button. One thing to keep in mind is that all changes made in AWS S3 Manager cannot be undone.

Live data mode
Turn on Live data mode
When working with data imported directly from AWS S3 Manager using the Use button, you can turn on Live mode so that the data will be updated in real time if there is any change made to the original data file stored in Amazon S3. Live mode can also be enabled through datasource selection menu in analysis tabs. Look for datasource that is imported directly from AWS S3 Manager and click the Live button next to it.
